Our School Uniform

We encourage all our pupils to wear the correct school uniform. High standards of uniform are expected as we consider uniform to be a reflection of our school.  Any variation of the listing below must be discussed with and agreed by the Principal. We hold a stock of pre-loved uniform. Please contact the school office for further details.

Doagh Primary School uniform
consists of:

Boys

  • Yellow polo shirt with school logo (P1 - P3)
  • White shirt and tie (P4- P7 only)
  • Grey/black trousers
  • School sweatshirt
  • Black school shoes
  • Plain black or grey socks

Girls

  • Yellow polo shirt with school logo (P1 - P3) 
  • White shirt and tie (P4 - P7 only)
  • Grey skirt/pinafore/trousers
  • School sweatshirt or school cardigan
  • Black school shoes
  • White knee socks or black tights

Summer Uniform - Boys

  • Grey tailored knee shorts
  • Yellow polo shirt with school logo P1 - P7)
  • White shirt & tie (P4 - P7)
  • School sweatshirt
  • Black school shoes
  • Plain grey or black socks

Summer Uniform - Girls

  • Yellow gingham dress
  • White socks
  • Black school cardigan or school sweatshirt
  • Black school shoes

  • School fleeces and school coats are available and are desirable, but they are not essential items of uniform.

PE Uniform for P3 - P7:

  • Yellow polo shirt with school logo
  • Black shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings
  • School sweatshirt
  • Please note: coloured sweatshirts, fleeces, hoodies and football shirts are not permitted for PE, after school clubs, Sports Day events etc.

The main stockist of the school uniform is Sport ‘n’ Sound, Ballyclare.

Additional

  • We suggest that long hair be tied back at all times.
  • No coloured shoes / trainers
  • No shoes with raised heel or open toes.
  • All items of clothing, including school tie, should be labelled with your child's name.
  • Jewellery should not be worn to school. Children who have their ears pierced should wear studs and not earrings.
  • Nail polish is not permitted.
  • Football kits are not permitted at any school activities.
